A poem I wrote in economics about "indie" girls
Gliding through life, In a multi-coloured spiral, Blissfully aloof to all the horrors that surround you. A bow in your hair, From some long last age. A delicate charm, Like a clichéd and contrived flower.

I wish I was blissfully ignorant
I want to be an author when I am older. I have already started writing various bits and pieces. Yet, my oh so rational brain tells me that this is no secure future.  I could be a lawyer and have a safe job, earn a decent wage, and be able to support myself (and hopefully a family). I would have to work hard at something I probably wont enjoy, but at least it should guarantee security.  Or I...

Everyone knows that I bash mainstream music...

I did this because I do not believe you should be allowed to bash and dismiss something without actually experiencing it. So I listened to the EP. It wasn’t bad, so here’s a...

Didn't watch that much in February...
2/2/12 - Unforgiven 9/10 Eastwood directing and acting. Good Western and acting from Hackman and Freeman 5/2/12 - Bronson 6.5/10 Story a bit weak (though it is a character study more than anything), and a little boring in places. Hardy was good though 6/2/12 - Army of Darkness 7.5/10 Not sure why I watched this instead of Evil Dead 1 or 2. Funny, great one liners.  7/2/12 - Fear and Loathing...

Rested my arm down on my desk.
Didn’t realised my fountain pen was underneath it. Now my shirt is stained. Bugger.

I just sat through "Salo".
It is the most disturbing film I have ever seen. I’m never touching foreign arthouse again. The whole of the second act made me want to vomit, but I just had to keep watching. Not for the faint of hearted.  I feel like burning the clothes I am wearing. I sold my soul to Satan by watching this, and I aint getting it back

Oh my god.
ONLY A MONTH TILL MAD MEN SEASON 5 PREMIERS! FANGIRL SCREAM! Seriously, Mad Men is probably the only thing that I am a rabid fan of. It’s been far too long since we’ve been graced with Don’s, Pete’s, Peggy’s, Roger’s and everyone else’s presence. Mad Men: The Cure for the Common TV Show
